Under the umbrella of O.P.F Girls College F.8/2 Islamabad, multifarious activities were organized to celebrate Independence Day with extraordinary zeal and fervor. In collaboration with Grammar School Rawalpindi the students were in top gear to commemorate this national event in a befitting manner. The foremost aim was to inculcate the spirit of patriotism among our youth and to pay tribute to the sacrifices of our fore fathers. Th dream of zenith and glory of this country would come true only if we make our children realize the purpose of creation of our heavenly homeland Pakistan. The participating schools were enlisted as Saint Mary School (Girls), Islamabad Dental College, Riphah International University, O.P.F Girls College Islamabad. O.P.F Boys College, Lawrence College Murree, DIL School, Gammar School Chaklala, Grammar School Lalazar And Grammar School Rah e Aman. The ceremony was presided by the Former CEO Imran Khan Foundation, Mr. Nasim ur Rehman. Other distinguished Guests were Madam Sheena Sohail,Director Academics (DIOCESAN), Mr. Malik Irfan from Traffic Education Department and Mr Salman Asif Consultant at UN development program.
View Gallery ImagesDolphin Camps Science & Arts Competition, 2018 A Science and Arts Exhibition was held at Kauthar College for Women H-8/2, on Friday 9th February 2018. Along with other participants, 109 students from Matric Section of OPF Girls College F-8/2, Islamabad participated enthusiastically in the competition. The main objective of the competition was to unmark the hidden talents of the students and provide them a platform to exhibit their artistic and presentation skills incorporated with science through 3D models and projects. The students worked industriously on selected projects under the supervision of their Science and Arts faculty. The audience were captivated by the creativity and scientific knowledge possessed by the young generation. Dr. Abida Hussain Principal Scientist Atomic Energy Commission Pakistan was invited both as chief guest and judge for the competition. The chief guest was fascinated by the work displayed by the students and appreciated the young generation for being well aware of research and progress being done in the fields of science and technology and relating it to the teachings of Holy Qur’an. Prize distribution ceremony was held at the end of the competition. It was a moment of pride for OPF Girls College F-8/2, Islamabad, as the students secured top 3 positions in various categories, winning 9 medals in total. The details are as follows: 1.
